Mr. Simons has over 12 years of experience in construction project management with a strong background in Design, Cost Estimating, Project Scheduling and Quality Job Site Management. His main focus for execution of work has been with an emphasis for use of Oracle Primavera P6 for enhancing project deadlines, activity level cost controls and companywide resource management.

EXPERIENCE

 

2001 to Present – Harbor Homes Inc., Marine City, MI – Estimating/Scheduling Manager

 

Mr. Simons was responsible for overseeing mainly design-build type projects from contract award to construction close-out. His responsibilities included design of project schematics, preparation of budgeted price quotes for project estimates using Oracle Xactimate, Importing or direct build-out of the awarded estimate into Primavera P6 for schedule creation and project execution through updating and reporting. Through his development of skills from CPM Course Training, he was able to begin advanced project management techniques utilizing baseline functionality to calculate earned value of each projects health and practice different ETC (Estimate to Completion) outcomes. He was also responsible for the coordination of multiple sub-contractor bids and tracking actual costs through each project lifecycle.
